What size should I choose?

European sports shoe sizes come in the sizes 17- 51. Sizes are based on cm and the difference between shoe sizes is ½ cm. When converting original sizes from the USA or UK into European sizes, the ½ cm difference doesn't exist (for example: a size 43 in the USA is a 9.5, where the length is 25.5 cm. A half size larger is the length 28 cm which in the USA, represents a size 10, while the majority of European companies display this not as a size 43.5, but rather 44.

Several manufacturers mark their sizes in thirds (Adidas, Salomon, etc. : 43 1/3, 46 2/3, etc.)

If you feel more at home with American or British sizes, and so as to omit doubt, we have prepared tables where you will be able to convert the sizes from one numbering system to the other.

Size conversions are provided by the manufacturers for 2005. We are not liable for any discrepencies.
